Vogue Ballroom as a Melbourne Wedding Venue
Located in the South-east Melbourne, the Vogue Ballroom represents one of the sublime wedding venue choices for grand and lavish weddings. Although the venue is hidden away in the suburbs and look a bit low-key from the outside, as soon as you walk in, you will be amazed with the interior decorations such as the grand dance floor, the dramatic lighting, the grand staircase as well as the hanging crystal chandeliers.
As a Melbourne wedding photographer who has almost seen Vogue Ballroom as our second ‘home’ ( we capture numerous weddings at the Vogue Ballroom each year), what I really love about shooting wedding photography at the Vogue Ballroom is the amount of wedding photography opportunities available directly onsite: from the moment the couple get off their limo, we can start capturing stunning photos at the front of this wedding venue together with the greenery wall as well as fountain in the background. Moving in, the staircase leading to the second floor which serves as the bridal room is also perfect for some dramatic styled wedding photography.
OUR STORY WITH THE COUPLE:
We met with the lovely couple earlier this year and it was great knowing the couple fell in love with our style of wedding photography at the very beginning. With many years of experience from capturing weddings on the Dandenong ranges, without too much words, we quickly managed to stand on the same page of the style we after.
The wedding getting ready: our couple started the day with the morning getting ready at their own place. Together with our Melbourne wedding photographer, the boys had lots of fun in the morning unboxing gifts from the bride, and out wedding photographer captured plenty of interesting and fun photos before we head off to the bride’s place. After some touch up photos for our stunning bride Grecia, we then guided the girls to help our bride to get changed into her beautiful white gown.
The wedding ceremony: the couple said ‘I do’ at the local church that they shared most of their memories at. During the wedding ceremony, our Melbourne wedding photographer captured lots of emotional and genuine moments of the guests together with the couple. And our professional Melbourne wedding live stream team members also helped the couple to cast their wedding ceremony to those family members who could not be here on the day to celebrate their wedding together.
The wedding reception: the couple’s wedding reception was held at the Vogue Ballroom. During the night, our Melbourne wedding photographer captured lots of loving moments of the couples, as well as plenty of party shots of the guests having fun on the dance floor.
