We found Tree Studio at the wedding expoFound them very reasonable price for our wedding. Great packages to choose from James our photographer was fantastic on the day helped us pose in different positions but only thing James could of had more confidence at the ceremony getting more family /friends in the right positions looking at the camera telling them to move closer in.Very happy with the quality of the photos and the amount they took for us on our special day.

Tree Studio were brilliant. We were so thrilled with the professionalism of Nick, who is one of the Tree Studio team. Nick has captured so many poignant moments of our Wedding Day. It is evident in the great lengths Nick went to in capturing all the excitement, emotion and candour of the day and evening. Mick and I thank you and we will cherish these photos always and forever.

We are absolutely blown away with the quality of both the Photography (James) & Videography (Alex). Although half of us are very awkward Infront of a camera, they made the whole process stress free and enjoyable.Honestly, I cannot recommend this team any more. and the end product is just amazing.

We hired TREE Studio for our wedding in October 2023. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience working with the team. From our first meeting with William, we knew we would be in good hands. Neither of us are naturally photogenic and both are quite awkward in front of the camera but Nick, our photographer, did an amazing job of ensuring we were at ease and capturing us at our best. He blended in on the day and was never imposing throughout. He captured our personalities and our story so well. We could not be happier with our photos and would recommend TREE very highly to anyone considering them for their big day.

We are absolutely delighted by the quality work done by James (photographer) and Ivan (videographer). Special callout to William as well on art direction. All were on point, professional and kind, you can trust they know what they are doing. Practically every shot was perfect, exceeded our expectations. We have already went through the video and photos captures multiple times. And each time, it has only brought us joy and delight, reminding my partner and I one of the most beautiful days in our lives.Thank you so much guys. You've all been so good to work with. We couldn't have chosen better.

Tree Studio Photography & Videography were truly amazing to work with. In my initial consult, William was fantastic and helpful. He answered every question and also provided helpful suggestions and ideas for photo locations. When our big day rolled around, we were lucky enough to have Nick as our photographer and Mark as our videographer. These two were a great team, they kept on schedule and assisted in our day running smoothly. Our bridal party felt very comfortable with them and they put a smile on all of our faces all day!All of our final photos and the videos are beyond spectacular, we couldn't be happier.Thank you to the entire team!

I highly recommend using Tree Studio for your big day! My husband and I don't consider ourselves particularly photogenic, and we were reluctant to have a lot of 'staged' photos done. Nick put us totally at ease, and captured a perfect mix of classical shots (where we actually look really glam!) with more fun/energetic shots that showcase our personalities. We also asked for a lot of candid shots of our guests, both relaxing and hitting the dance floor, and got exactly that. We feel that Tree Studios captured one of the most fun day's of our lives in a way that lets us relive it in the best way possible. Thank you!

Tips for wedding photography on the Dandenong Ranges

With century-old tall trees, ferns and lush greenies, Dandenong Ranges is a unique place that unlike any other places in Victoria. Are you getting married soon or doing wedding photography at the Dandenong Ranges, here are some tips that will help you to get stunning wedding photography at this magical place.

Plan your wedding photo location time

As a Dandenong wedding photographer, I cannot stress how important it is to plan your wedding photo location time well on the Dandenong Ranges, especially when you are planning to do sunset wedding photography. Due to the number of tall trees, the lighting on the Dandenong Ranges will end earlier meaning if you are planning to do sunset wedding photos, arrange the session at least 40 minutes earlier than the actual sunset time on the day.

    Choose the right colour

On the Dandenong Ranges, green is probably the most prominent colour you will find and they add a lot of natural vibes to your wedding photos. However, this also means that the bride needs to keep in mind that when choosing dress colour for her bridesmaid, green should be avoided as this will easily make the bridesmaid blend into the backdrop. Colours such as black, navy blue and burgundy red which make a good contrast with green will make the subject pop out on your Dandenong wedding photography.

    Prepare a wet weather plan

Melbourne is known for its unpredictable weather, especially for Dandenong Ranges where short period of rains is quite often to experience. As a Dandenong wedding photographer, I believe rain actually adds a touch of romance onto the couples’ wedding photography. For couples, if the weather forecast shows that there may be rain on your wedding day, couple sets of clear umbrella can be prepared for the bride and groom as well as their bridal party so we can get some really fun and candid shots.
