Absolutely the most incredible dining experience we’ve had, and we’ve been to many best restaurants around the world. Food was exceptional, service was outstanding - the staff’s attention to detail and care was beyond. Ambience was beautiful and the open kitchen was just stunning. Could not fault it.

We went there for Easter, the food was definitely very good and a beautiful presentationService was great and very attentive (without me even saying anything they swapped side for my cutlery)They do alternative food for dietary requirements, even the desserts as you can see from the photos of the petite fours in the small box for me and the large one for the rest of the table (had a small accident with the ice cream but all in all was a very good experience)
We attended Vue de monde for lunch on 12 April 2024 and were overwhelmed with the incredibly attentive and professionalism of the staff. The food (14 courses) was outstanding and the entire lunch was a theatrical experience in a wonderful way in which each meal was presented. Overall very impressive and one that will leave a lasting positive memory.
Me and Wife had a great time at Vue de Monde. From the time you enter, every single person or the team greets you with a smile and makes every effort to make the experience faboluos. We had the Chefs tasting menu, which we loved. It was very carefully planned, highlighting Australian produce. Tastes amazing. Highly recommended. Will visit again.
It’s such a nice and unforgettable experience we had here for a birthday dinner. Beautiful food presentations, excellent services and wonderful atmosphere from both within restaurant and outdoor views. A bit expensive but counted number of staff on duty it really worth the cost. Guests are happy to be engaged with the making of deserts and live cooking.

We feed our imagination and take a walk through the Botanic Gardens, rooted in our seats. Visually this is what dining at Vue de Monde feels like; an artist’s impression of garden scenes with the plate as a canvas.Chocolate pralines are disguised like gum nuts dangling off a eucalyptus leaf. Like a terrarium in a dinosaur egg, we dig past a wreath of cucumber, caviar and kelp jelly into a creamy well of smoked eel tofu. In a Japanese pond we fish for lightly dried tomatoes, swimming beneath floating nasturtium leaves in soup. We are invited to play, crushing flower petals to the gush of liquid nitrogen, the sensations rather like the crunch of crisp autumn leaves under our feet.If the food evokes imagination by sight, then the taste does it more than adequate justice. There is an underlying thread of sublime elegance, perfect execution and a beautiful balance of taste and textures that can only come from a consummate master in the kitchen. This kitchen we get to tour as part of our dining experience, getting up-close to chefs at work at their various stations.Service leaves an impression. We came to celebrate our anniversary, and a passing remark to one waitress about the number of years we have been married is thoughtfully passed on and reflected in a greeting card, signed by all staff at the restaurant. Chefs wish us “Happy Anniversary” as we walk through the kitchen.Where we think Vue de Monde can do better is in the consistency of service standards, bearing in mind this is a three-hatted restaurant (Australia’s equivalent of 3 Michelin stars). Many waiting staff were highly engaging, but a few were evidently going through the motion, revealing a lack of enthusiasm to be present. Noise travels and is amplified in the restaurant, making it hard to hear introductions of dishes. Wine list is extensive but so are the mark-ups.But change is coming, and as Vue de Monde closes this winter for renovations, we hope this period of reflection will fix some of these issues to be truly worthy of a top-class restaurant.*This visit was made at the end of May 2023.
A truly wonderful experience. From the moment you arrive, you are in a perfect food world. The team are engaging, the food is delightful, the view spectacular. 13 courses, and never rushed. What an exquisite fine dining experience! Enjoyed a Friday lunch with family overlooking the north east on a beautiful sunny winter day. Staff were brilliant, food was great and the location top notch (no pun intended). Can't wait to see what it is like after the renovations.
