The Timber Yard is built on the philosophy of recycling, up cycling and bringing people together for amazing events. Located on 6,000 sqm, comprised of indoor and outdoor space, in the Port Melbourne industrial precinct, The Timber Yard is a landmark Melbourne venue of unprecedented size and event flexibility. The site has been restored, remaining true to it’s heritage of second hand timber storage and fabrication. The Timber Yard is an urban sanctuary designed to bring the flavour and personality of the country into the city.
Located in the Port Melbourne, the Timber Yard stands as a stunning industrial-vibe wedding venue with abundant space as well as endless wedding photography opportunities. The yard is a large turfed outdoor area that covers an immensely 1000 square meter lounge area, in the center of the venue you will find the workshop which features a large warehouse for sitting down dinners, on the right side of the venue is the wood shop where the barn shed provides shelter from rain.
The Timber Yard represents a subline choice for wedding venue as it offers enormous area for wedding, large guest capacity up to 1200 guests and couples can also do stunning wedding photography directly inside the wedding venue.
