Shantelle and Daniel’s Wedding at La Belle Venues
Shantelle and Daniel celebrated their wedding, a relationship marked by love and commitment, in the summer of this year at La Belle in Melbourne. It was a beautiful blend of cultures, harmoniously fusing Daniel’s Persian heritage with Shantelle’s fiery South American spirit. This wedding wasn’t just about celebrating love and romance — it was also a celebration of heritage and traditions, from live Latin music, salsa dancing, and spirited performances to Persian music and cultural rituals.
At Tree Studio, we were grateful for the opportunity to officially capture the couple’s intercultural wedding. It was a wonderful way to showcase our experience and understanding of wedding photography, contributing to a wedding album that newlyweds will cherish for a lifetime. We knew our role was to document every special moment — from the romantic chemistry between Shantelle & Daniel to the emotional involvement of their friends and family. Of course, the grandeur of La Belle Venues and the classic elegance of Parliament House added a magical touch to their wedding photographs.

Parliament House as a Melbourne Photography Venue
Parliament House in Melbourne stands out as one of the finest backdrops for recording timeless moments during a couple’s special day. With its scenic beauty, architectural grandeur, and deep historical significance, it creates a truly picturesque setting for wedding photography.
Shantelle and Daniel worked closely with us to select the perfect spots for their photo session. From romantic poses on the sweeping steps to elegant shots beneath the towering columns, we captured timeless images that beautifully reflect their love and connection. The soft, warm afternoon light added a natural glow, making it even easier for us to showcase the couple’s chemistry in every frame.
Our Story with the Couple
From the very first conversation with Shantelle and Daniel, it was clear this wedding was deeply personal—a heartfelt celebration of multicultural heritage. Their vision extended beyond beautiful photographs; they wanted their story captured in all its emotional richness, cultural depth, and genuine connection. For us, this wedding was especially meaningful, as it was one of the first times we had the honour of documenting a union that gracefully blended Persian traditions with South American spirit.
Getting Ready
The day began early as we moved between both sides, capturing the quiet excitement as the bride and groom prepared for their big moment. On one side, Persian elements stood out, rich with symbolic heritage and meaningful rituals. On the other hand, the bride was surrounded by her bridesmaids, the room filled with laughter, vibrant chatter, and joyful anticipation. We caught the quiet, intimate moments that matter most—heirloom jewellery being clasped, final makeup touches, heartfelt hugs, and deep, steadying breaths before the walk down the aisle.
The Ceremony
At La Belle Venues, the ceremony unfolded as a vibrant fusion of Persian elegance and colourful South American charm. From the floral arrangements and symbolic décor to the rhythmic music and spontaneous dancing, every element was alive with energy. As the couple exchanged their vows, we focused on capturing the subtleties—the locked eyes, trembling smiles, tender hand squeezes, and joyful tears. We moved discreetly, letting the magic of the moment guide our lenses and tell the story naturally.
The Photoshoot
The photo session at Parliament House felt like a dream. The sweeping symmetry of the steps, the majestic sandstone columns, and the soft afternoon light came together to create a breathtaking setting. Shantelle and Daniel moved effortlessly as a couple, exuding both grace and ease. Every shot felt relaxed, candid, and full of warmth, just like them. The result was a collection of portraits that felt timeless, elegant, and undeniably personal.
