Great venue + easy access from Hwy + ample guest parking.My experience with them has been very positive. The manager Naresh was very helpful and accommodating to our specific requests. Booked the Venus hall. Pricing was reasonable. Everything was explained to us upfront and there were no surprises (in cost). Their chosen/ linked caterer could provide halal food and that was a big plus. Food was great and so was the service !!Family was happy and so were the guests. Overall, a positive experience.

It was very disappointing for our sons yr 12 valedictory. I had beef which I struggled to cut - it was tasteless, tough and I couldn’t eat it. The potato mash tasted like water. If you have allergies like myself you get nothing for the dessert but a few pieces of fruit , while you watch everyone else eating a cake - no care at all. The jugs of cola tasted like syrup. Staff seemed confused and took a very long time to serve everyone, by the time we got our meals they were cold. For $100 a person I think it could have been a lot better,. I picked up pizza on the way home as I was still very hungry. I would avoid this venue. The five people who attended the event with us were not happy at all with their meals.

Amazing food - the chef here is passionate about their food. The management is too notch, from a prestige hotel background and the venue is gorgeous. The best reception venue you can find in the western region. Great for weddings, parties and engagements.

HiI held my daughter’s 21st birthday at Grand star reception I was really blown away with their service. The staff and management were very professional and knowledgeable in organising events.. My 250 guests that attended my function were really impressed with the food and not one person complained, so if anyone has an event, Birthday or a wedding I definitely recommend Grand star reception is the way to go.Once again thank you to the staff and managers at Grand star reception for making my daughter’s 21st birthday a special and memorable night…

Thank you to the team at Grand Star Receptions - especially to Kahli and Naresh! They provided good communications, very accommadating and reasonably priced compared to other places. Kahli was amazing to work with and very knowledgeable with recommendations for planning a wedding! She answered all our questions in detail and was able to assist us with great flexiblity and understanding with culturally diverse weddings. Their in-house DJ, MC and pyrotechnician, Harry, was astounding - given that we provided the run sheet late, he executed night perfectly! Also, Mel the supervisor for the reception was great, she provided support wherever was needed and made sure our night ran smoothly.We're so happy to have had our wedding there!With love, A&C
