The Shearing Shed, where do I begin.Firstly the whole process leading up to our wedding was so easy. It was simple and every question or concern we had was fulfilled by the amazing team.Then the wedding day, simply put, it was perfect. The day couldn’t have gone any better or smoother. The Shearing Shed definitely know what they are doing when it comes to this stuff and they made mine and my wife’s life a whole lot easier on what already was an emotional and anxiety filled day. The formalities on our run sheet were executed bang on without us even thinking of it, all of the little things happening behind the scenes. Allowing us to really personalize the day to what is our vibe and making it all come together. The food was a big win and we heard about it long after the day had ended. This is a massive tick in my eyes.The vibe, the scenery, the vision and the options!! If The Shearing Shed is on your radar for your wedding and you want something a little bit more rustic and laid back, where your guests can actually let their hair down and feel more relaxed, then don’t hesitate in just going to see the place for yourself. You’ll know the second you walk the grounds that it will be the place for you.We could not recommend this place highly enough. They made our day exactly what we could have hoped.

My husband and I had the absolute night of our lives at our wedding and the shearing shed is a HUGE reason why. They are a well-oiled machine and everything went so perfectly. Stacey and the entire staff were so helpful, right onto it and seemed genuinely happy to be there. Smiles all round when serving the food and drink. Our guests commented a few times on the attitude of all the staff they felt like guests at the wedding having a little boogie and a laugh as they were making their way through the masses! The food was incredible, so delicious we were very impressed and there was so much of it, nobody went hungry and everyone got a feed whether they were up on the split level, down by the dancefloor or outside the staff made their way around everywhere. The lead up to the wedding was so breezy for us as Stacey and/or Abbie were an email away and would respond so quickly so we felt very relaxed and extremely well informed going into the big day. The venue itself is so beautiful it has a lot of character just on its own so there isnt really a lot of need for a whole bunch of styling. We were lucky to have great weather so the courtyard outside was an awesome addition for people to take a break and get some fresh air away from the dancefloor as well. We had our ceremony in the barn and it was so intimate and romantic its so beautiful inside and can be styled however you like it could fit any colour scheme/flowers etc. A lot of natural light comes through the windows so the photos look fantastic as well. The shearing shed staff were there to greet me right before the big entrance and made me feel so relaxed. They fluffed out my dress and train and even gave me some pointers on where to hold my dads arm and where to hold my flowers for optimal photos! The venue has a way of feeling so intimate yet its sooo spacious, I think the layout is perfect. We just had the absolute best day and really want to thank all the staff at the shearing shed for the spectacular service and gorgeous venue. We really really love this venue and 1000% recommend it to anyone looking for their big day - the shearing shed will look after you and then some!

We had the most magical wedding day here. Staff were incredibly prepared and accommodating in both the lead up and on the day. Food was delicious and they were happy to have our dog there for the ceremony. Highly recommend this venue. Bec & Jim xx

I could never have anticipated our wedding being better than I could have dreamed it being. And it’s all because of the team and the care they give to the ultimate wedding day. My husband and I couldn’t have been more impressed with the dedication and investment into our day, from the many emails and meetings/tasting days, to watching the team CRY before I walked down the aisle and the constant check ins and chats from them all during the day (and keeping drinks in our hands).We got so many compliments from our guests about the delicious food, how beautiful the venue was, how kind the staff ARE… and we feel so proud to have had you put on the best day of our lives. The Shearing Shed does wedding but they do them with so much passion that it’s hard to leave you behind now we’re married and it’s all over!

We had the most amazing experience and day celebrating our wedding at the Shearing Shed. It was the first venue we looked at and looked no further and were stoked with the whole process! Abbie and Stacey are incredible at what they do and made the whole experience fun and exciting! The billabong offers the perfect location for your ceremony and then having the reception only a short walk up the hill made everything so easy! Also having a wet weather option available to you right up until the day of the wedding took away any weather-related stress!The staff are amazing, the food was incredible, and everything ran as smooth as it could. We even had a few guests say it was the best venue / food / music combo they have experienced at a wedding before!I highly recommend getting your photographer to take you on the short drive to Pyramid Rock Lookout for incredible views and photos!If you want a memorable weekend with a mini destination wedding without the need to travel far, I wouldn't look any further than Phillip Island and the Shearing shed!
