If you’re looking for a wedding venue that is just that little bit different, the Hunter Gatherer Winery is it. Located in the heart of the Macadeon Ranges, this working family owned and operated winery offers a selection of rustic venue options for wedding ceremonies and receptions.
One of the venue’s biggest drawcards is its large barrel hall, which doubles as a function space that can seat up to 120. With stunning views of the vineyard, this space also features large overhead trusses, fairy lights, wine barrels and tanks, and other rustic touches. Perfect for any reception – whether you’re sitting down for a meal, standing up to socialise, or dancing the night away – this space also offers plenty of room for personalisation, if you’d like to add your own touches or décor.
A number of other special spaces are also available at the venue, ranging from a 1870s farmhouse to expansive outdoor areas, which promise panoramic vistas of the surrounding hills and farmland. As a Melbourne wedding photographer, I always love shooting outside – particularly when there’s a stunning sunset to use as a backdrop!
At the Hunter Gatherer Winery, the goal is very much to take the hard work out of wedding planning.
