My husband and I spent 2 nights at this so called “luxury” glamping dome. These were not luxury at all! I was in utter shock to see how old and unclean this dome was and to be honest, very disappointed that he actually paid $755 for the 2 nights! We go away often however this was not even worth $150 per night! They promise luxury but do not deliver! Curtains were dirty with stains, pillow had a stain and parts of the walls and ceilings were stained! The actual bedding had a doona however the doona didn’t even have a cover, they threw a sheet over it which I have never seen before! We were given 2 tiny waters for 2 nights and 4 little coffee pods and biscuits that were all broken and I’m assuming old. The wine glasses were plastic and looked like they were used! There was no cards or games! The room was not cleaned, the floors were dusty and there was long hair on the floor so it was not swept or mopped! We wanted to leave but stayed because we paid so much money! There is green fake grass & leaves hanging on a fake coloured wall, looked old and tacky definitely not luxury! The fact that it states luxury is actually false advertising, the photos on the website look nice but in real life does not look that good! The only thing I would say was the view was nice and food at the restaurant was pretty good. The cheek was yum and sticky date pudding was great. We also had a beautiful waitress who looked after us. So for the restaurant part of the experience I’d say 4/5 the glamping I wouldnt even give it a score!

The Russo Estate and vineyard offers a range of venue options on one site, ranging from outdoor arches and marquees overlooking the estate’s waterfall to indoor reception spaces – all of which are designed to maximize natural light and take in the natural surroundings. There are even nine luxury domes on-site, so you won’t even need to travel to the venue! The Russo Estate really does have everything all in the one place.

This used to be a venue we genuinely looked forward to visiting, unfortunately, this visit was a real disappointment. The food missed the mark badly — unusual flavour combinations completely ruined what should have been simple classic dishes, leaving the meal feeling unauthentic and confusing. Three out of four people in our group didn’t finish their meals, which really says it all.
The service was inconsistent, with some staff being friendly and attentive and others not so much.
On a positive note, the atmosphere is still nice, it isn’t too loud so you can comfortably talk, and the view is lovely. It’s just a shame the food no longer matches the setting.
We had a ladies day out for my mums surprise 70th birthday. The food was absolutely delicious, friendly service and great views of the vineyard. Will be back for sure!!!
Food service and wine were fantastic. Highly recommended to all family and friends. Beef cheek and pasta dishes were delicious, we thought serving the kids first was a great idea. 2010 Pinot wine suggested by staff was a great recommendation. For such a busy day well done. See you guys next time!
